The unincorporated region between Goleta and Santa Barbara is known as Noleta (as in no, it’s not officially Goleta). There’s a little bit of everything in this eclectic neighborhood that refuses to be labeled, from apartments to ranches to mansions. Bordered by Hope Ranch and Santa Barbara to the east, Goleta to the west, the Santa Ynez Mountains to the north, and the Pacific Ocean to the south, it’s home to San Marcos High School, the Page Youth Center, Tucker’s Grove (a popular picnicking and hiking park), and more. Families love it for its nearness to both Goleta and S.B., but just about anyone could probably find something to live comfortably in here, making it pretty easy to say “yes” to Noleta.
